Outline

From the water source to the end of the pipeline, there exists the need for a variety of controls throughout the waterworks, Additionally, the need to manage many different types of fluids is increasing throughout the industrial world Since the commencement of valve production in 1897, the Valve Division has responded to the demands of a variety of ages. basics on up,the Valve Division continues to furnish an unlimited number of highly reliable products. Now and in the future, we are looking forward to offering increasingly superior products and peripheral goods to satisfy customers.

Research and Development

Beginning with basic research into material quality and construction, the Valve Divison is advancing system development as well as those products derived from a combination of mechanics and electronics, as well as other new technologies. Using various types of computers, the valve Division is carrying out Research and Development, starting with analysis of structure, thermal conduction, oscillation and fluid, and including scrutiny into the systems domain. Additionally, utilizing hydro-testing equipment, visual flow equipment, and automatic measuring systems, we are able to test capacity in working conditions extremely close to the actual working environment and in this way greatly promote product development.

Production and Testing

The Valve Division has installed machining equipment, fabrication and welding equipment, heat treatment equipment, coating equipment, non-destructive testing equipment, hydrostatic testing equipment, high temperature testing equipment, medium mass-production lines and other elements necessary for the production of large to small diameter valves. Also, in our desire to attain quality in each and every product, we have introduced the latest technology into various equipment including Kubota's Multi-Functional NC Machine Tool and we are striving for perfection in high level process is achieved, from receipt of an order through its shipment. And of course, all products are subject to rigorous quality inspection prior to actual shipping.

Valves play a vital part in piping system. To produce valves to match with specifications, durability and reliability for given specific needs, intensive research and development, followed by exhaustive testing and rigid quality control are indispensable.
At Kubota's Hirakata valve R&D, studies on the basic elements to determine valve performance, plus research into materials, mechanisms and valve designs are accomplished to keep pace with the technical innovation.
In addition, to ensure reliability and durability, the valves are subjected to severe testing, both in the laboratory and under actual operating conditions.
